Tandoori Curry Spice

We hand-craft our Tandoori Curry Spice Blend to be very classic in spices, yet with our own extras to give it our own signature flavor. Originally blended in Northern India and Pakistan for use on foods cooked in a Tandoor, or Indian clay oven, the flavor they produce has become popular the world over.

Tandoori cooking is known more as a flavor, especially with chicken. Cooks will marinate skinless half chickens overnight, then skewered and baked in the tandoor. In Western kitchens, we prepare the food the same way, but just bake, broil or grill our Tandoori Chicken and other dishes. Try it on chicken kabobs, chicken or fish. Excellent on sauteed foods as well. Delicious for seasoning lamb or beef kabobs.

Use in place of a BBQ rub. They share many of the same spices. Rub directly on meat, or mix with plain yogurt for a marinade. Imparts a great flavor on vegetables, potatoes and even popcorn. Use as you would a seasoning salt.
