Thai Red Curry

Thai Red Curry is a medium to hot blend of chiles and spices inspired by Thai cuisine. The subtle and complex flavor of this Thai Curry blend helps ease the involved nature of building complex Thai curry dishes and provides the perfect amount of heat. It presents a distinct combination of lemongrass, galangal, red Thai chiles, cilantro and garlic flavors. It is a varied yellowish red in color. As a finely ground powder it easily reconstitutes into an authentic Thai-style curry paste.

Use Thai Red Curry Powder to season dal, a lentil soup popular all over South Asia. It can also be added to cooking vegetables and is great when combined with tomatoes, saffron and cream. Blend with some melted butter and brush on fish before grilling or broiling. The Red Curry is also good on roasted potatoes.

To use as a curry paste stir 1 tablespoon water and 1 tablespoon cooking oil into 1 tablespoon Thai Red Curry.
