Vindaloo Curry Spice

Our Vindaloo Curry Spice is everything you expect from the blend.  Vindaloo is a signature dish of Indian cuisine and are considered to be among the spiciest of Indian curries. Originating in the Goa region of western India, it was brought to India by the Portuguese as a dish called Carne de Vinha d’Alhos, made with chiles, pork and vinegar. Influenced by Indian cuisine, it is now associated with the spicy curries.

As with all curries, Vindaloo Curry Spice blends vary from family to family. We chose to create a more complex, Salt Free, spicy blend deserving of the Vindaloo name. All of our handcrafted curries are taste tested in our kitchen before putting them on the shelf.

Whether you make a recipe calling for Vindaloo spice, use as you would any other curry to season chicken, beef, lamb, shrimp, vegetable and tofu dishes.

Ingredients: Cumin, Cayenne Pepper, Coriander, Mustard, Cinnamon, Clove, Black Pepper, and Spices.

In addition to Vindaloo, we have a good selection of other Curry Spices, also created and small-batch blended from our own recipes. Because of the complexity of curries, we are especially pleased not just at the results, but also from the loyal following they have all found with our customers.
